Consensus
There is a huge wealth of information on Mayan history and culture as well as a lot of prominent researchers and writers who have done some great work in research and attempting to decode the wealth of knowledge left by the Mayans.
When I stated the mayan leg of my journey I found it quite hard to get to an understanding in my head as there are differing opinions out there. Therefore my first aim was to sift all the information and opinion and find my own truth.
What has made it easier for me is to be able to confirm or run my understanding past Mo and others who have been helping me get to where I am. This has been great for me, but is probably lacking for most of you reading this page who would like a little more evidence than 'the spirit who was once the first ruler of Copan said that this is correct'.
The good news is that most of what I believe to be true has been proposed by people who have a lot more experience, evidence and credibility in this field than me. Working with Mo I have a view of what is to come that ties a number of theories together and adds some extra bits around it that is supported, in the most part by solid research.
What I hope to do is to work with these respected individuals to get to a consensus that all of us can agree on and put out there, so that as things speed up and start getting more interesting, it can be easier for people to find help and guidance, because we're all saying the same thing.
I write this page as an open invitation to everyone in the Mayan community to work together to come to consensus. Please drop me an email when you have time to discuss it further.
